BMW is the second German premium car manufacturer after Mercedes to introduce a hybrid model. The BMW X6 ActiveHybrid is the world’s first SUV with a full hybrid engine. The hybrid system comes with a powerful 407 horsepower V8-Motor with TwinPower Turbo technology and two synchronous electric motors that provide even more juice.The BMW hybrid consumes approximately 20 percent less fuel than similar vehicles running only on a combustion engine. In test runs,average fuel consumption in the X6 Hybrid was just 9.9 liters per 100 kilometers.
