Here’s a good look at the 2012 Lincoln MKZ hybrid car. I took one for a ride, and the Lincoln MKZ hybrid is a nice car. It has a real luxury feel, and it runs on the electric motor under 47 mph, and the gas engine takes over at higher speeds, or when you stomp on the gas. There is a little bit of a lag when the Lincoln MKZ Hybrid switches from electric to gas power, but it accelerates briskly nonetheless. You get a car with good power and great gas mileage. Lincoln clams the MKZ Hybrid car’s batteries will last 10 years. The only thing I didn’t like about the Lincoln MKZ hybrid was the noise the air conditioner blower made. Sorry about the shaky camera work, done by the little kid riding in the back seat. The Lincoln car salesman did a good job of answering my questions about the Lincoln MKZ hybrid while I was driving it around.

The Lincoln MKZ Hybrid car has an electric motor and a 2.5 liter inline 4-cylinder engine and a CVT transmission. It has leather trimmed seats and a backup camera to show you what’s behind you when you’re backing up. The Lincoln MKZ has the feel of a luxury car.

The 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid is not your ordinary hybrid car. Instead of the weird 5-door hatchback wedge shape, the Civic Hybrid looks like your normal everyday sedan. Fuel Economy for the Civic Hybrid is 44 MPG in the City and 44 MPG on the highway making this car one of the most fuel efficient hybrid cars on the road today. The 2012 Civic hybrid has a base price of $24,050. With that you get a 1.5 liter 4-cylinder SOHC i-VTECH engine producing 98 horsepower. With the help of the electric motor the Civic Hybrid can top 110 horsepower.

This is quite interesting using what they call HH2 gas, this company is working on using water to power cars or weld things. Currently they have a test vehicle which runs as a hybrid with water and fuel but they say they can run exclusively on water alone…

While the technology may not be as unique or breakthrough as the reporter and company spokesman claim (it seems to be based on an electrolytic process commonly known as “Brown’s Gas.”), it’s still a great story to watch, and then do some fun follow-up research on.

I wish there was some more info about this but for now this video will do. Hopefully we can see this technology in service sooner then later.
